Note from the President: January 2013
Well, another year has come and gone. Even though we started the year with some unexpected problems and controversy, we pulled together to turn things around and again come out on top. With the help of hardworking and dedicated club members, good friends, and fellow tractor pullers, we overcame these problems. As I stated before, I really believe we are now a stronger club and getting stronger.
We have made some changes, such as relocating the track, putting up guard rails, and putting down "clean: red clay, just to name a few. As one long time fellow tractor puller said, "these were steps forward not backward". These changes were made possible with the help of hardworking and again "dedicated" club members and many good friends. We are looking forward to more changes and additions for 2013.
Although we were not able to celebrate our 20th anniversary like we wanted to, 2012 was an exciting year and also a learning experience for us. Hopefully with the lessons learned, 2013 will be a much better year. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again this year and also looking forward to meeting more fellow tractor pullers. Again, I thank everyone for their help, their advice, and for just being there during the difficult times this past. From all the members of Hanover Historic Machinery Club, we hope each of you have a prosperous and happy 2013.
