Note from the President:

November 2013

Well, another year is quickly drawing to the end. As usual, each year is different, unusual, and educational. It was great seeing old friends and it was good making new friends and seeing new faces joining the pulling world. For some new pullers, who appeared to have done their homework, they were ready to go. For others it was a learning process.

This year we tried something new for us, our "Lawn Mower Mud Bog". It was a lot of work setting up and it was a lot of fun running through the pit as the pictures on Facebook shows. We didn't get the turnout we would have liked, but the ones that did, had fun. Hopefully we can try it again in 2014.

I want to say "Thank You" to the folks that came out and took part in our pulls. I also want to give a BIG "Thank You" to the pullers who stepped up and helped us when we were shorthanded. They didn't have to be asked, they saw that on some days we were in need of help and they just stepped up and joined in. I for one, appreciate this greatly. It just goes to show you how 'special' fellow tractor pullers are.

We are looking forward to 2014. We are planning on adding a couple more classes to the Lawn/Garden division plus maybe changing a few of the weight classes. If everything pans out it will open the door for more pullers in a class and more fun for everyone.

Again, I want to say thank you to everyone who comes to our pulls throughout the year and their support of our club. Also to say thank you to the dedicated club members who have been there when the work needed to be done, in good weather and bad. Without their help and the help of others, we might not have been able to have our pulls. We are also looking for new club members who enjoy old equipment and camaraderie amongst fellow tractor pullers.

If you have any questions or concerns, my phone number is posted on our website. Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns you may have.
